Fun fact: I’ve worn this look more than once!
I like to consider myself a minimalist but not just style wise, I also don’t believe in excess. Every season
new clothes hit the stores and new (old) trends emerge again, so it’s easy to get sucked into the need to buy everything
to keep up with what’s “in” at the moment. Personally I try to stay away from the super obvious trends and I don’t
buy things that I’ve seen on too many people, unless I’m obsessed with it and have to have it! Instead what I like to
do is focus on building a strategic wardrobe which consists of staple pieces with good quality that I’ll get a lot of
use out of. For example this white DRESSMANN shirt and LEVI’S denim shorts which I’ve worn together a lot since they’re
one of my fav go-to combos for summer and because I love coming up with new ways to wear my fav items. It’s the same
look but with different accessories and styling, which goes to prove that you can totally find new ways to wear the
things you already have in your wardrobe.
I think when you add something new into the mix like a new bag or a pair of
heels it really changes the outfit and makes it look interesting again. I still believe in shopping, but I’m trying
to cut back on fast fashion and start investing in better quality pieces that I can re-style and wont have to
keep replacing them every year! Hope you guys have a great weekend!
